Lorelai socks are inspired by Lorelai Gilmore’s beloved style and her well-known love of coffee from the Gilmore Girls series. The beautiful textured stitch pattern on the leg resembles tiny coffee beans, adding a subtle yet recognizable coffee theme to the design.
These socks combine a striking ruffled edge, a beautiful textured stitch pattern, and a classic stockinette foot. The heel is worked as a raised hourglass heel, and the toe is finished using the Kitchener stitch technique.

Yarn: Säie Wool Merino Sock (425 m = 100 g, 75% superwash merino wool, 25% nylon). The sample socks were knitted in the shade Craving for Latte.

Needles: 2.5 mm double-pointed needles OR a 80 cm circular needle if using the Magic Loop technique.
Gauge: 32 sts × 42 rounds in stockinette stitch on 2.5 mm needles = 10 × 10 cm
Notions: Stitch marker, cable needle, and a tapestry needle for weaving in ends.
